Waynesville's Vacation Bible School will be held on FOUR nights this year, June 27 - June 30, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Children from Preschool - 6th grade are invited to attend. The Waynesville United Methodist Church will be hosting.

Lava Lava Luau is about our emotions and how we can control them. Emotions are like a force of nature, but with God's help, we can learn to take control of our emotions before a storm hits! During our fun four nights at the Lava Lava Luau, we'll see what God's word says about anger, sadness, jealousy and frustration. We will also learn how we can respond to others who may be feeling these emotions as well. In Lava Lava Luau, kids will learn Biblical ways to express and deal with their emotions! In addition to our emotions, we will learn about a mission program called "Animal Crackers." Monies collected for this program will go to purchase Heifer animals to help families facing hunger and poverty worldwide. Also included in VBS will be music, crafts, snacks and games.

If you have children to pre-register, you can do so online. There is a link on the Waynesville United Methodist Church Facebook page as well as the Waynesville News and Events Facebook page. Paper forms are also available at Waynesville Chrsitian Church, Waynesville United Methodist Church and the Waynesville Township Library. Pre-registration is highly recommended. It helps us know how many children to plan for and avoids the chaos of getting everyone registered the first night.
