R. Dale Faughn, age 63 yrs., passed away on January 10, 2022 at OSF, Peoria. He was born on March 14, 1958 in Bloomington, IL to Eugene and Imogene (Polly) Faughn. 

Dale grew up in Mackinaw, IL and graduated from Dee-Mack High School in 1976. After school he worked at Hunter Manufacturing in Mackinaw before starting work at Caterpillar. He then worked at CNH Goodfield (Previously DMI) for 33 years, until December 23, 2021. 

Dale married his high school sweetheart, Lori Weishaupt, on June 17, 1978 in Mackinaw. They were blessed with 43 years of marriage. Dale loved the Lord and was a member of New Castle Bible Church. He and Lori enjoyed trips to the Smoky Mountains as often as possible. He enjoyed motorcycles rides, Chicago Bears football, NHRA drag racing but most of all his family, kids and precious grandchildren. 

Dale was proceeded in death by his father (Eugene), mother (Polly Hamock) and siblings (Dianna & David). He is survived by his spouse, Lori; children Matt (Sammie) Faughn; Isaiah (Jill) Faughn; Jeremiah (Jessica) Faughn; Sharon (Brett) Holzwarth, Anna Odari; his sister Carolyn (Richard) Raeuber; and his precious grandchildren, Payton, Ellie, Lochlan, Abryna, Dixie, Maggie and Emmett. 

A funeral service was held at 11:00am Saturday, January 15 at the church. A private burial will follow at a later date.  

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to New Castle Bible Church.
