Deborah L. Furman, 69, of McLean, passed away at her home on Thursday, January 6, 2022.

Funeral Services will be held at the McLean Christian Church on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. with Mr. Tony Billingsley officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the church.

Deborah L. Nevius was born October 30, 1952, the daughter of George William “Bee” and Betty E. Ewing Nevius. 

She is survived by two children: Laura Furman and Justin (Jackie) Furman; one brother: David (Donna) Nevius; and three grandchildren: Shelby, Tanner, and Timothy Furman. 

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Deborah was a 1970 graduate of McLean-Waynesville High School.

She had previously been employed by the Super 8 Motel and the Qik Pik in McLean, and the Freedom Oil Company in Bloomington.

Her hobbies included genealogy and town history. She loved the McLean Fall Festival and animals of all kinds.
